Great staff just not much of a selection
I wish I could give 0 stars. My 86 year old aunt who Is visually impaired, could barely walk with a walker, is on oxygen thought that she needed shoes that fit to go to the doctor when needed. Her home health care aide took her to new balance because she heard that they carry large shoe sizes. My aunt has leg and foot edema and takes size 9 5 wide (EEEEE) but the largest size the store carries is 4 wide. The sales clerk forced this shoe on her foot and told her it would stretch a whole size larger and convinced her to buy them. They never fit and she never wore them. Her health declined further and now she can’t walk and is in a wheelchair and doesn’t wear shoes only socks. She just moved to a nursing home. I was cleaning out her apartment and found these brand new shoes with a very poorly printed receipt that only the store name could be read. She told me what happened. I went to the store to return them. All of the store employees examined the shoes and agreed they had never been worn. I was told that it was out of the return window and she paid $135 for these shoes!!! They refused to accept a return. The cashier went in the back to talk to the manager and came back to say that they would give 1/2 the price in store credit. She can’t use that and I don’t need anything from there. I asked to talk to the manager but he hid in the back and had the cashier run back and forth. They were very rude and told me she should put the shoes on eBay. I don’t even know how to do that. I called new balance headquarters and spoke to customer service who told me that the company policy for outside the return window is to give FULL price store credit not 1/2!!! So this store not only took advantage of an elderly person with the sale and also ripping her off on the return. Stay far far away.
I had to go here to try on the model that they made in my size and thankfully they had in stock so I bought it. the sales associate knew his stuff and I could tell that the other one did too. That's a big plus.
Good experience but be prepared to pay alot.
